PostSubject: VSTs anyone?   Thu 26 Feb 2009 - 23:01

I was wondering if anyone of musicmakers over here can recommend me some good/crazy/freaky VSTs that could fit into industrial-techno music?

Thanks! =] rulaiz

*EDIT*
OH!! And does anybody know a -GOOD- VST guitar to make heavy guitar riffs?? I tried "Slayer" but it sounds very very synthetic... =(

(we have already a music gear / guitars / vst thread)

A good vst guitar, I don't know any, you could sample a real guitar, and compose your riff like that with a sampler, maybe you can find some sampled notes (? tones?) / chords online or make someone sample it for you... and put it into the sampler and voila... may be better than a guitar vst....

Else I dunno, everything from Native Instruments, Massive for instance.

for industrial techno i think you need, vanguard, absynth (for ambiant part) firebird is not so bad too, if you want some sound old school like for skinny puppy or maybe hocico you can try Pro 53...

blue glitch for crazy effect! thanks ghost for that^^

VSTs Are Evil !

To make heavy Guitar Riffs you need a good guitar and a great guitar player. nothing else!

oh i remmeber, ive try something to have a credible guitar sound, try to use Edirol Orchestral and choose one of the violin preset "warm" and spizicato (for pale muting) and add a Vst called, Guitar rig on your orchestral vst, you can have something realy good!

I already tried to put some synths into guitar rig, maybe violin too (I don't remember very well or the result I had), but your result is good ! I wondered when I heard the track the first time if you played the guitar or whatever...

I'm trying Orca, a free VST, it's quite simple but cool... ANd I'm thinking about buying more hardware, actually. I can't fucking stand more VSTs.
