The next Iggy Pop album ("Préliminaire") will find inspiration on "La Possibilité d'une île", written by Michel Houellbecq and will be a kind of New Orleans jazz, with songs sing in french!

How, BREAKING NEWS: ELIJAH WOOD will perhaps play IGGY POP in The Passenger, a biopic about ex-leader of the Stooges.

I must confess Elijah Wood's part in Sin City was cool. I almost forgot he was a hobbit. But hell, IGGY ??????

just wanted to say that i really like the new album. nothing extraordinary, just good old jazzy style, dramatic ballads.
and iggy's voice is so sensual, so down and warm. although he might not be a technical monster, he brings many emotions through the intonation. he's quieter and more mature, doesn't try to impose the strengh of his voice, he just gives a bittersweet moment.

and "les feuilles mortes"...

"Iggy Pop said: "One of the most moving songs of the record Préliminaires is called King Of The Dogs, where Fox tells you how cool it is to be a dog, how much it beats human life". This revolutionnary interactive video directed by Patrick Boivin lets you decide which dog you want to be between a business man, a bum and an explorer. New album Préliminaires Out May 25th."
