Strangely, I find some of his stuff really moving, and some other boring and mediocre. Someone should maybe tell him not to always use the same strumming method.

I love some stuff, first maybe "But what ends when the symbols shatter", I like "All pigs must die" too, but after that, it depends, some songs on one or another album, not everything... I only listened once to the last album, didn't like it nor dislike it, but found it pretty formulaic , but maybe I should listen to it again... and I don't know everything, never took the time to listen to all the albums...

"But what ends when the symbols shatter" is for me the best folk album ever, I also particulary like the 2 albums with Albin Julius "Take care and controll"/"operation hummingbird" but it's just nothing compares to 30 years of musical evolution .

Same for me. But I'm still a DIJ fan... Nada, The World That Summer, But WHat Ends... I especially adore the Tibet-featuring songs (that won't be a surprise ha ha).

This is a really enjoyable DIJ record… And I recommend it to anyone who likes But What ends (etc.). But I must confess after years of repeated listens, it really gives me the feeling of being some kind of unter-BWEWTSS … Except for the PERFECT “13 years of carrion”, which is one of my favourite DIJ tracks ever. Maybe the single vinyl is enough, after all… (beautiful object ! Especially since this is the only DIJ vinyl in my hands ha ha)
