Everytime I try to listen to death-industrial stuff, I'm (almost always) strongly disappointed. Is this again a musical genre where the general attitude prevails on musical interest ? I'm interested on your opinions.

I'm a little into death industrial, and don't think i've ever been disappointed. Albums like Innerwar and May All Be Dead by Brighter Death Now are awesome, i REALLY love Melek-Tha though most of their music is more about ritual and ambiant (but they've done so many stuff ... and i haven't listened to it all).

What did you expect about this genre? What albums have you listened to?

lots of BDN, and I always get the feeling it's just overdone cheap ritual drones topped with "sooooooooooooooo scaaaaaaaaaaaaaary" samples...
