I fucking love irreversible and I i also think it s realistic
and i read (read read ridden? ^^ dunno) the review by sidvicious a long time ago . and now that i have seen it, I agree Very Happy .
It ' s hard but so true, scenes like the woman being raped and the man in the background who come, see and just go away beacause he doesn t want to be involved .
And I love the end of the movie too

For those who don't own the movie on DVD, it features good footage of cgi effects and all.
And by the way, talking about the guy who just walks away in the background, you can see he was added in post-production.

Great news from Hollywood :

- Brett Ratner should be the director for the next Conan's movie. The script is as far as possible of Howard's novels and will be...humoristic

- Zack Snyder's next movie would be "Alice in Wonderland with guns"

Life sucks.

I haven't yet read the short story, but I'll do it as I have the first book of blood by Clive Barker, but apart from the blood I don't know it's there is anything else in this movie...

The movie, though far from a masterpiece, is quite relevant in adapting the Barker universe, and is rather faithful in its mood and screenplay to the original story. The Books of Blood are probably the best writings in horror of the last 30 years !

Agreed !!!!! I don't really like later Barker stuff (Imajica is just so awfully BORING), but his short stories are... Blood-chilling. He has a real sense of wonder and horror.

I also agree ! Huge fan of those books as well. I'v read them again and again.

Altough I'm not a huge Kitamura fan (apart from Versus) I'm also looking forward to Midnight Meat Train. I hope it's just half as good as the novel itself.

Recently I've seen Zach And Miri Make A Porno by Kevin Smith, I expected more but it was ok. Jason Mewes is just great, as usual Cool

First tome is good, but i never succeeded in ending the second one cuz yeah...boring. I should try again ( i say that for years...). Anyway i'm about to watch Midnight Meat Train and i didn't realize it was Versus director who did this one. Sounds promising.
